When I created my studio, silk painting was supposed to be only a complement to tailoring. In addition to tailoring, I painted silk scarves, scarves and clothing. My first wings were Monarch butterfly wings. Since then, I made about a thousand wings and hundreds of fans in over 200 designs.
I make wings based on real butterflies and their various graphic colorful compositions. Each pair of wings is hand-painted on an individual order, so the wings of the same model are similar but never the same.
My wings are ordered by belly dancers and burlesque dancers, women performing at fitness shows, artists – performers, ordinary women as a costume for Halloween or Carnival.
Then sometimes I wish I was a dancer. However, I am happiest when I get messages from satisfied clients, their photos or videos with my wings. And then I’m proud of my work.
In my work, I use the highest quality professional silk paints from renowned German and French companies. These modern and durable dyes preserve the natural softness of silk, giving it intense and full of light colors. I approach each order individually and my priority is to maintain the highest quality of the product and customer satisfaction.
My husband supported me from the beginning. He is the one who takes pictures of my products (and me, by the way) and makes fan frames. In the photo – us together, in front of my studio.
